Leena's eyes softened as she watched and listened to her student and friend speak. Ah, so this was over a boy. A two-timer? Her eyes narrowed slightly. What had this school come to? Fighting a groan, she smiled warmly at her. "Yeah, it's this nasty habit I have." She giggled and unwrapped a candy bar of her own. She sighed in content before she kept going. 'But, sweetheart, it's--I--oh." She blinked as Bridget once again put her head on her shoulder. Leena dropped the chocolate on her desk and she patted the top of her back comforting, uttering words of comfort. Bridget, you are indeed a very special girl. If a boy simply cannot see that, then he is missing out on what could possibly be the best thing in his life. You know...I once heard a saying. 'No boy is ever worth your tears, and the one who's right for you will never make you cry'. Or something like that." She giggled again and hugged her tightly then let her go.
"It's OK to be upset over what he did, whoever it was. But don't let it get you down for long, OK? You need to show him that you don't need his stupid butt around. OK?" Her eyes lit up and she smiled at her, tweaking her nose playfully. She stood up and walked over gracefully to her record player. As soon as her back was turned to Bridget, her smile melted off and she looked down at the instrument with saddened eyes. This was a present from Harrison. She took in a deep breath, controlling her emotions. She put in a Beatles record and turned to face Bridget, the smile right back on her face. "Come on," she shouted over the music and held out a hand. "Dance with me, it'll be fun!"

Laughing at the jokes, Bridget felt better and smiled at the Professor, feeling better about herself and forgetting about Casteil. She was happy with her new friend. Her best friend. She did make a face at the music though, she thought the Beatles were overrated, but smiled at Kaileena's enthusiasm and grabbed her hand. "I don't really know how to dance though..." she mumbled, with a light color of red on her face.

Leena laughed, the sound filled with mirth. She would forget about her brother. She wouldn't break down and cry. Not now. Instead, she shrugged. "I don't know how to either, I just move!" She tightened her grip on Bridget and began jumping around, shaking her head to the beat of the music. She laughed giddily, forgetting about her brother for the time being. She looked over at Bridget, her smile bright and inviting as she jumped. However, when she landed on the ground, her feet slipped on the rug. She yelped in surprise and flailed about, attempting to regain her composure. Despite her efforts, she swayed violently, yanking Bridget accidentally, and fell backwards. Her head hit her desk, making her grunt in pain, and before she knew it, she was on the ground, looking up at the ceiling, gasping for air, her vision stained with white stars. Her voice came out in a strained, hoarse whisper. "Bridget--you're crushing me..." Well now this was just peachy. Once again, her clumsiness had ruined a moment. Her chin quivered and she bit her lip to keep from crying, but her eyes filled with tears. They slid down the side of her face, landing in her hair. Emptiness began settling in her chest once more and she closed her eyes to keep the tears in, to no avail. It's just one bloody thing after the other, isn't it?

Bridget, having fun semi-dancing, yelped when she and the professor fell. When she landed, she knew the professor cushioned her fall then quickly scurried off of her. Worried, she asked, "Are you okay, Professor!?" Then she faintly whispered, "Bridget-- you're crushing me..." Well that made no sense to Bridget. She'd scrambled off as soon as possible. Then she noticed the blood that was slowly covering the floor and let out a scream. "Miss Lovegood! You're bleeding! What happened!?" Then the blood kicked in, and made her feel queasy. She hated blood. Feeling dizzy, she clutched onto a nearby chair.
Not knowing what to do, she said, "Oh please, stay with me long enough to tell me what to do..."

The throbbing pain was increasing in Leena's head. She moaned in agony and her hand flew to her forehead. Bleeding? She didn't feel like she was bleeding... She felt--she felt empty. That pretty much portrayed her right that moment. She could hear Bridget talking to her and she sniffled. "Bridget...Don't panic..." More tears welled in her eyes, affecting her voice as well. It was thick, filled with emotion, but she tried to clear it to remain calm. She knew it was wrong to trust in an 11 year old girl, so she tried to remain in control regardless. She just wished someone would come and rescue her for once. "In my desk, there's a first aid kit. Left side, third drawer. pull it out and get the gauze out. I'll handle the rest." She closed her eyes again, more tears streaming down her face. She wasn't thinking clearly, forgetting that the letter informing her of her brother's death was in that very same drawer Bridget was reaching into....

Bridget quickly scrambled over to the desk and looked in the drawer. She found the dinky first aid kid and frowned. What good was that going to do!? Regardless, she grabbed it and darted over to the Professor, unaware of anything else. She was hating her friend being hurt and bleeding. "I'm sorry I don't know a spell or anything..." she said weakly.
Then she got an idea. What if she had a medical spellbook in there as well? While Ms. Lovegood handled her injury, Bridget quickly scampered back to the desk, saying, "If you can hear me, I'm looking for a spell to heal you, if not, then please don't die!" Looking through the drawer she only found the letter. She opened it, read it, and gasped. Her brother just died!? Oh gosh... She held back tears again and tossed the letter back in the drawer. I'm not put out for this! Ugh. Think Bridget, THINK. Healing spell! What did the nurse say the few times you walked by?
After a few minutes, Bridget remembered. She heard the nurse use Episkey to heal some students, and she heard it a few times when she walked by. Or she thought so. She hoped, scurrying over to the Professor to see her weakly struggling with her bandages, she pulled out her wand. Please... let this work, she thought, as she said, with focus, "Episkey!" and saw the magic fly at the Professor.
Please be right... she thought, crying once again from panic, worry, and pity for her friend. How could I worry about boys with her having a dead brother!

Kaileena felt her the spell Bridget used hit her head. Instantly, she felt relief and felt the back of her head being sewn back up with invisible stitches. She sighed softly and sat up, glancing down at the rug where she had been laying on. A small puddle of blood had fused with it, seeping into the fabric of the rug. Huh. There was blood. That was going to be hell to clean up. She looked at Bridget and smiled at her sweetly. "I'm impressed! I had no idea you knew how to do that. Good job!" She stood up, wobbling slightly and fell down again. She smashed her knees on a corner of the desk and cried out. Note to self....get a new desk. Preferrably soft rubber. She giggled and wiped her the remnants of tears from her eyes, hoping no one outside had heard the commotion. The last thing she needed was someone else to come barging in demanding answers. "I am so terribly sorry about all of this....What an interesting turnout, right?"

Damien was late. He was supposed to be meeting with Professor Lovegood to discuss the possibility of her being a part of the next Order meeting. Finally arriving at her door, he knocked softly, hoping she was in.

Leena blinked. Oh god...someone had heard. Her cheeks flared pink with embarrassment and she glanced over at Bridget. "Um...that's weird. Ehehehe....excuse me." She walked over to the door and opened it. She blinked when she saw the Muggle Studies professor there. But...why? Not that she minded. He seemed like an extremely cute man. Oh boy. "May I help you?"

Damien flushed bright when he came face to face with Professor Lovegood. He hadn't met her at the first meeting because she was a newer recruit into the Order, but now that he was face-to-face with her, and alone, he realized how pretty she was and it caused his tongue to swell.
Only then, with his mouth hanging open and him floundering like a fish, did he realize that there was someone else, a student in the room. "I...uh...I had no idea that a-anyone was here. I sh-shouldn't have interrupted I'm sor---"
God, why couldn't he speak!? He cursed his shyness; he would never understand what had motivated the Headmaster to recruit him into the Order, but he felt ridiculously out of place talking to people. It didn't make any sense to have him out recruiting and promoting the Order amongst trusted colleagues. It was a bad idea. "I'm sorry. I should probably go..."

Her eyes widened. "Oh, no, no. Um...just give me a sec--well, come in." She opened the door wider so he could come in. Smiling, she watched him walk in. "Bridget, this is Professor Hampton. Damien, this is one of my students and best friend, Bridget." Her smile brightened. Damien could either take that or leave it. It didn't particularly matter to her. After all, he had no right or reason to judge her. No matter how...incredibly cute he was. A soft, longing sigh escaped her lips, making her blush immediately. Hopefully neither of them caught that.

Damien quickly came in, feeling ridiculous. Why was he making such an idiot of himself? This was why he had such a hard time making friends. He was so...shy and awkward.
"Bridget, this is Professor Hampton. Damien, this is one of my students and best friend, Bridget."
Best friends? With a student? Professor Lovegood was even more interesting than she let on. "Hello Bridget," he said, ducking his head and smiling before holding out a hand to shake hers. This was an important, top-secret meeting, but he wasn't on any specific schedule. Why not meet a young girl that had managed to find a special place in Professor Lovegood's heart? Maybe it would help him know the other professor better if he understood the kinds of qualities she looked for in a friend. "It's nice to meet you," he stated.

Bridget was incredibly impressed with herself for healing the Professor. Letting out a sigh, she replied, "I only heard it when passing the nurse's office." She didn't want her to know that she wasn't sure whether it'd work or not. She actually jumped when someone knocked on the door out of nowhere. She'd forgotten that she and Ms. Lovegood were in an office. Then a guy walked in. Bridget recognized him as a teacher. The muggle studies teacher. A class she thought was a waste of time. What were wizards besides muggles with magic anyway? She knew enough about the muggle world, as anyone who originally came from it should.
On top of that, Bridget didn't really care for meeting a male teacher. She found them to be quite incapable most of the time. She did, however, notice his stammering and felt an instant bond with him. But when she talked, she noticed her stammering had returned, "Uh-uhm... hi..." she said with a little blush, shaking his hand anyway. She didn't want to be rude. Noticing her shyness returning with this stranger, she just hid behind Kaileena.

Leena smiled, forcing herself to forget completely about her accident and the news she had found out about her late brother. She could deal with them later. Right now, she needed to be there for the people around her. She glanced behind her and at Bridget, smile softening. Poor girl....she's so brave to have been through so much and still want to be here with me. She reached over and put a hand on her shoulder comfortingly. "Would you like some Swedish chocolate, Damien? A family member just sent me a new batch." Pulling away from Bridget gently, she walked over to her desk and pulled out a milk chocolate bar, offering it to him. I hope he's not an any sort of schedule. I don't plan on kicking her out anytime soon.

Damien smiled, his eyes lighting up when she mentioned the candy. He nodded. "Sure, thank you." He glanced at the student and gave her a small wave. He couldn't help but smile at her. She was so shy. She reminded him of when he was in school. He didn't know what else to say though, so he tried his hand at a joke. Jokes always made people laugh, right? "Say, Bridget....why did the cactus cross the road?" He waited a beat and then smiled warmly. "'Cause it was stuck to the chicken." His smile grew to a grin and he watched her, waiting for a reaction.
