Christian winced and covered his ears, crouching down instinctively. He followed Gage out with wide eyes, still slightly deaf from the commotion inside. He blinked, seeing that she was saying something, but he didn't quite understand. He also saw her shake with laughter and then stop to look at him with a grin.
"What?"
"I said 'HOW WAS MY ACTING?'"
Oh. It took a moment for this to process. She was acting? He--Ohhhh... His eyes lit up and he laughed as well, putting his hands down. Now that he thought about it, maybe covering them was what made him not hear her in the first place. Silly him. He laughed and shook his head. "It was brilliant! Thanks, mate." He looked into her eyes and the urge to kiss her rose up from inside him. He began leaning in, but he stopped, looking away and up at the stars one more time. He didn't want to push her anymore than the bit he'd done tonight.

Gage's breath had caught in her throat when he'd leaned in, and then her temper rose when he stopped just shy of kissing her.
"Hey, don't stop now!" she said, then reached up and grabbed his head, tangling her fingers in his hair and pulling his face down so that she could trap his lips in hers. Immediately, she deepened the kiss; she wanted him to be begging her for mercy by the end of the kiss. "Nobody likes a chicken," she whispered as she broke the kiss, then offered him a teasing grin.

Christian blinked when she grabbed his hair and began pulling their faces together. He began a cry of surprise but it was muffled the second their lips touched, fizzling and dying out. Immediately, he reacted, moving his lips against hers. His arms wrapped themselves around her waist, holding her there and he closed his eyes, melting completely into the action. He gasped for air when she pulled away and he moved his upper body back, loosening the grip on her slightly, but kept his arms around her. His head was spinning and he grinned goofily.
"Wow. That might possibly have been the best kiss of my life." He grinned and looked down into her eyes, his cheeks and lips stained a soft red. He wanted to kiss her once again, so he leaned in, brushing their lips together. He grinned mischeviouously against her lips and bit down on her bottom lip then disapparated, reappearing on the other side of the street. He waved at her, laughing, and then ran off, leaving her behind to chase him. Tag seemed like a good way to end the date before he had to walk her home. He grinned, the wind blowing through his brown curls, and he let out an Indian cry. Merlin, it feels good to have fun again.

"You sound like a wounded goose!" she called back teasingly after he let out his savage cry. She could Apparate, too, and so she did, appearing right next to him and tackling him roughly to the ground, pinning him beneath her and straddling him. "That's going to be your native name. Wounded Goose. How do you like that?"
She smirked sideways and then kissed him again, savoring the way his lips moved against hers and the way he would nip her lip, just to keep things interesting. Anything less was likely to get boring for a girl like Gage, so it had been quite a good move. Christian seemed to understand her need for spontaneity and randomness, because he always got it. She rather liked that.

He laughed and kissed her back happily, placing his hands on her thighs, simply to have somewhere to put them. A few people walking by catcalled and whistled but he ignored them for the most part, flipping them off idly. He pulled away and shrugged. "If I'm Wounded Goose, then you're Straddling Parakeet." He cackled and reached up to muss her hair up, wriggling out from underneath her and stood up. He burst out laughing again, seeing her hair sticking up at odd places. His eyes softened and he walked over, smoothing it out for her. "Oh...oh god, I'm sorry. I couldn't resist."

Gage laughed and stood up. "Surprisingly, I don't care about my hair. Perhaps something to do with being an Auror. Too many nights spent sleeping out in the woods, waiting for some dark wizard to come out of hiding. Hair never looks good after that."
Gage winced, remembering a particularly awful hair-day following a stake-out. Her hair hadn't quite been the same since then. "So," she asked after dusting herself off a bit, "What now?"

He laughed, remembering a few stakeouts where he had encountered some of the same problems. Come to think of it, now that he looked back on it, he could pick her out from his memories. He opened his mouth to tell her but she had already moved on. His eyes softened. Though he was doing a good job of keeping up so far, it was going to have to be an adjustment. Most of his Aurors, though great workers and battlers, weren't so smart and fast paced in the office. He wasn't used to fast-paced people. He looked around and shrugged. "Um...well, we can always try that antique shop. Fantasia's or whatever. It must be new...I've never heard of it." He frowned quickly. When had that gotten there? It wasn't here last time he had checked. Still, he shrugged and slipped his hand into hers, waiting for her response. He began walking towards the shop slowly, wanting to move but also giving her room to change her mind if she wanted to. He looked at the bright pink, sparkling sign and took a deep breath. It was just a shop. How bad could it be?

"Oh, Merlin! I love Fantasia's shop. I went there when it first opened and just fell in love. Her perfume is phenomenal. Let's go!" Gage said, smiling brightly and swinging their hands as they moved towards the shop with the pink sign.
Gage also remembered quite distinctly the owner. She was quite a treat and Gage rather liked her. She wondered if Christian would like her or if he'd find her a little...out there. Of course, Fantasia was quite a character, and it was always pretty mind-blowing when one first met her, but her carefree attitude tended to put one at ease.

"Um... I'm not sure. I guess we could try there, but I've never even really heard of it..." Elena laughed, rubbing the back of her head. She ran her fingers through her hair and frowned a little. Now that they were here, what were they going to do? She looked around the empty streets, touching her finger to her puckered lips and shrugged. Most of the shops were closed anyways. The only one that looked open was Fantasia's. She noticed that there were people inside of it already and she stopped walking to examine it, halting Viola as well.
She squeezed her hand comfortingly and studied the people. They didn't look like Hogwarts teachers or anything, which meant they were safe, right? Elena's hand dropped and she bit her bottom lip, trying to decide their next move. She couldn't go back empty-handed; they'd just gotten there. Still... She sighed, making up her mind. If they got in trouble, so be it. She'd take all the blame and say she had dragged Viola out here against her will. She began walking again, smiling at Viola. "Well, only one way to find out, right?" She leaned into her and giggled, quickly touching her lips to Viola's cheek and pulling away before the girl could respond. Her smile widened as she walked. With Viola at her side, she felt she could do anything...and that was precisely what she meant to do.

Viola slowed to a halt with Elena. There were adults in the shop, one was a guy in a godawful pink plastic suit. Hopefully all the clothes weren't so bad. She gestured at the guy through the window. "You know, this could be you." She giggled, right up until Elena decided that there was only one possible future, and gave her kiss. That stopped it, but she started up again when it was over. And it was over much too soon. She looked Elena in the eyes, contemplated it for a minute, and gave her a real kiss, one that was longer and deeper than Elena's peck on the cheek. "This is going to be great." It was said more to herself than to Elena. On that note, she pushed open the door and dragged Elena after her. The bell above the door seemed loud in comparison to their whispered conversation.

Elena blinked as Voila kissed her on the lips. Her eyes widened, then fluttered closed as she melted into the kiss. She wasn't expecting this, but she wasn't about to stop it. She kissed back sweetly, her lips moving against Viola's. She sighed softly in content and began slipping her free arm around her waist but Viola pulled away. Elena blinked, eyes opening slowly. Disappointment hit her like a train but she kept a cool face, nodding at Viola silently when she said that things would be great. She walked in after her, looking up at the ringing doorbell.
