She hasn't talked to her parents since the day she left home.
Special Skills: Math, if that counts as a special skill, she good with numbers.
Sample Post (at least 50 Words): Veronica was reading in her living room, her mother was knitting, and her dad was reading the newspaper. Just another typical day in the Sawyer home, where everything was just perfect. Veronica hated that word, her parents had used it too much over the years, she couldn't stand it. Just as she closed her book, a letter zipped under their door. Veronica jumped up to get it, surprisingly, it was addressed to her. Veronica tore open the letter, her eyes couldn't move fast enough, she...she was a witch?! That was just plain crazy.
"Veronica, sweetie, don't just stand there, what's that letter for?" Her mother walked over and took it out of her hands, reading through it, a small "No" escaped her lips. Veronica looked up at her mom with curiosity, "What is it? Aren't you happy? This is incredible!" Veronica's mother tore the letter in two, "You are not going to be a part of that, my mother let my sister, and look where she is now, living off in a fantasy land of spells, she is a freak, you are not going down that path." Her mother fixed her clothing and walked back to her seat, picking up where she'd left off. Veronica tried speaking, but she just shushed her. Fine, if this is the way their gonna be, I'll go live with Auntie Jane.
"Fine, mom, if that's the way you want it." Veronica walked over to the phone, dialing her aunt's number, "Auntie Jane, it's Veronica, I just received my letter to Hogwarts, can you come pick me up? I no longer live here." She hung up the phone and turned to her parents, they both pretended she wasn't there, walking to her room, she quietly packed her things and walked out of the house for the last time.
