He couldn't believe it there was virtually no one here. Marcus was so glad, they could study and talk in peace here. "Do you really want tpo know why I was upset before". He felt like he needed to tell someone after all these years, and Rose was the only person Marcus knew at Hogwarts so far so why not her. "When I was nine, me and my other two triplets had a race in a forest, and well.....my brother Sam tripped on a rock hit his head and fell into a lake. My sister Piper blame's me for his death, and my mother stopped talking to me. That about sums it up I guess". Marcus held back the tears and put on a smile. He hoped that Rose didn't blame me as well as his sister, the idea of that happening made Marcus upset, that was something he never wanted to happen. Marcus couldn't help but start drawing again, he drew alot when he was sad.

Rose was glad there was barely anyone here, she stretched her arms out, before answering Marcus. I do want to know. Not be nosy but for a couple of reason. First so I know what not to say so I don't upset you again. And second because... I am protective over all my friends like that. Even if we did just meet. Rose explained. Only having her owl and a house elf as friends growing up was kind of... unhealthy as most people put it. She didn't talk to either of them they were just there, like company that one else wanted to fill. Once she made friends that she could actually connect to the protectiveness just came with it. "When I was nine, me and my other two triplets had a race in a forest, and well.....my brother Sam tripped on a rock hit his head and fell into a lake. My sister Piper blame's me for his death, and my mother stopped talking to me. That about sums it up I guess". She listened to every word he said and now understood why. Something about his family made is seem a lot like her family and her, they were both... unwanted. Except one of his family member to die, she was just born. Is must be hard for him, she didn't know what she do if she lost someone to be unwanted. Rose smiled at him sadly. I wouldn't have blamed you. Sounds like an accident no one could do anything about. Since you told me something about your family want me to tell about mine? Rose asked, watching him draw in his sketch pad again. Rose, never talked about her family...Ever,ever. But Marcus willingly told her about his and that didn't seem like an easy thing to either.

Marcus was glad that Rose understood his feelings, he didn't want to intrude on her personal life, but it would've been nice to somethings about her. "If your ok with sharing with me sure, but you don't have to, I know how hard it is to talk about family and stuff". Marcus really did understand though, he was a happy, enegtic boy until that unfrotunate day, ever since then he only talked to his owl Artemis and drew, sang and wrote about stuff. He continued to draw, his pencil moved with precision, moving back and forth to create lines. He drew and drew only listening to the sound of Rose's voice. "I hope you don't mind if i draw while you talk". He felt a little insensative asking this, about he couldn't stop drawing, he was in the zone.

Rose watch him draw, she didn't understand why she did but she enjoyed watching go at it. Probably because she enjoyed watching anything anyone did, as long as the did it because they were passionate about or just really good at it. I don't mind I like to see what its going to be. Rose said. She closed her eyes for a second and took a deep breath before reopening her eye's and started on her family. I have 3 brothers and two sisters and the normal mother and father. One of the three brothers was my twin, but he didn't make it when he was born. The other two are old twin brothers there both 21 right now and I know there into dark magic. My two little sister that are also twins are cold and heartless as you can get. And they all learned there tricks and ways from my dear mother and father. Everyone in my family made Slytherin...except me. Everyone is... Fake in my family. I am glad I can come here during the year. My greatest fear is that one year there going to send me away and I'll come back one of them. Rose confessed. She had only ever told Addison this, but she hoped that Marcus didn't judge her base on her family. Everyone outside of Hogwarts did. Parties her family were invited to she would sit alone and watch groups walk around, but no one talked to her because she was either the outcast of the family or because her last name was Willington. Rose shock the thought and looked to see how far Marcus had gotten on his picture before taking out one of books, so they could study. Rose always changed the subject when ever she even got close to thinking about her fear. She had tried confronting may times but failed at banishing it.

Marcus put his arm on Rose's sholder in an efert to comfort her. "Well you’re a sweet and caring girl, nothing like your family. Don't let them get to you, for you are, and never will be like them.”. He stopped drawing for a moment so he could keep comforting her, and then started to draw again. As he drew you could make out a face like shape, Marcus peered up at Rose then went back to drawing, he was drawing a portrait of Rose. His drawings all had great detail in them, but none more detailed than this one, he drew her to perfection, her hair, her eyes, her nose, her mouth and even her uniform. It was his master piece so far, even the background had extreme detail, he drew a sunset, and the light of the sunset glinted on her skin. But Marcus was far from done.

Rose smiled at him. Thank you I am glad you think so. Rose looked through her potions books first, cause it was her favorite class of all time, she was advanced before even coming to school. She had been sneaking off doing potions since she was 5. Though she had worked hard to get the grades she got in the rest of her classes. And thanks to someone she met, got into a not so nice talk with, then was forced to be with because of the stairs she kind of understood him. Then he helped her find a book that helped advance in magic. So what's your favorite subject? Mines Potions. Though most people like charms or Transfiguration. I am not as good those as I am with potions. She told him. Potions were her number one pride and joy, her hobby as most people with put it. The thing she does when she's, sad, or even needs to blow off steam, that's what she did.

"My favourite class would be Care of Magical Creatures, I'm great with animals, or this case creatures hahahaha, I also like potions too". Marcus didn't laugh much so it was good to laugh. Marcus was an average student so he wasn't get A's and B's to offten, and he didn't have very many friends so he talked to animals a lot. As he finished the picture off he smiled, he showed Rose the picture trying not to blush. "Do you like it? I hope so its my best picture yet.". The thought occured that she would hate it, he didn't want that to happen.

Woah! The detail it's... Almost like a picture. It so amazing Marcus. Rose was amazed at the detail. She blushed a little when she saw who it was of, but she didn't mind. She wish she could draw like he did, Marcus was good really good. He was the first she had met here that was good at drawing, though her parents go to art shows all the time, but nothing there ever interests her. Its not that I don't like creatures, its they don't like me and I just stay away from them. Though, I spent one summer at my first friend's house Addison and she had this muggle creature called a horse, it doesn't like people to ride it I guess and I got on it and it loved me. So I guess only certain things like me. Rose told him she loved reading about the creature and things but none of them really care for her. One time she thought that this forest animal was glaring at her but no one will believe her.

Marcus blushed at her complement. "I find that creatures are very fasinating, plus i can connect with them really well, even muggle animals love me.". Marcus was happy to know that him and Rose were connecting, they had found out so much about each other in such a short time. He hope he could meet some of her other friends, if they were as accepting as she was, he could like to be friends with them to. Since Marcus came to Hogwarts he had changed a lot, though he hadn't been there long. Rose was so different to from his few muggle friends, she was like him, sort of, minus the dead brother. "Do you think I could meet some of your other friends".

Of course you can. If I knew were they were I would have gone and got them already but honestly I just met this one boy in the kitchen... I think he's in the same house as you...Xing. Addison can be easy to find most of the time but sometimes you just have to run into her. Dastan and Astin I have no clue were they'd be I just barely met them I am not even sure if they'd be considered friends. Toby well we've made a truce but I don't know how long that'll last. He can be a bit of a jerk. Rose felt the need to explain each of the different people she had met. She met quite a few people but wasn't sure what to make of it. They were all different in there own way. There also a couple of other Gryffindor girls I met but I haven't seen them in a while, she's probably busy. She seemed the type to always keep busy never really had time for much. The girl that she was sitting with when she met Addison she hadn't seen her in quit some time she wondered were she had run off to that day. I'll set something up for everyone to meet up once I have this really cool hang out finished. Its really an old abandoned classroom me and Addison came across one day and we fixed it up but it still needs a few things here and there. She told, it was really suppose to be a secret but she didn't feel it was so much a secret anymore all her and Addison friends knew about it now.

"Ok, well if I see Xing in the common room or the dorms I'll say hi, also if you want me to tell him something I will." Marcus was excited to meet other people, but he also wanted time for himself for he hadn't grown out of the habit of being alone. "So....." Marcus was so embarrassed, he had ran out of things to talk about, thats wasn't good. Marcus was in a tight spot, he began to sing softly and sweetly. It was a beautiful but horrific song, he hoped Rose didn't he him. He didn't like singing in front of people. "Ummm.....sorry i can't think of anything to say". Marcus felt bad about saying it. "OH...I know could you help me with my potions studies, you see I'm just an average student and I would really like to get high marks in one of my classes other then Care of Magical Creatures". Marcus hoped that she couldn't see the desperation in his eyes.

Hm. Well if he doesn't show up today will to tell him that the library was to crowded today I couldn't stay in there. I was waiting for him, but I think he'll understand. Of course I can help. I would love to help. Rose said excitedly she pulled out her favorite potions book. I was an older book and you could tell that it was well used, it was a used book when she bought it and wasn't well taken care before, but she takes care it like if it were her own life. She has actually fixed its binding with a spell she read a couple of days ago. This is one of my favorite Potions book. It is way old but very helpful. The school books are helpful in there own way as well I just find more simple potions that are better for starter. Well for me when I was younger I started with these. And they explain a little more of the advanced potions as well and why there more advanced. She explained to him. She flipped through a couple showing him of the more simple ones that wasn't in the school books. The were more of the healing potions but the weren't as good as the more advanced healing potions but they were still very useful for her when she was first learning potion in her hidden house in the woods. I think I'll start teaching helping with the burn and cut healing potions first. There not as good as the one in potions class is but it will still help out a lot. Its kind of like learning to add and subtract before multiplying and diving Rose wasn't sure how much of this actually made since to him, but it was the best way she could explain it to him. It was how it made since in her mind and she hadn't actually helped someone with potions before. She was excited, she was glad someone wanted to learn from her.

Xing had just visited the library, saw that Rose was not in there and that it was a bit too crowded and left. He first thought about going to hide in the kitchens again, but instead headed for somewhere that should have less of a crowd. He thought maybe the wide open spaces of the courtyard might fit that category.
His assumptions were confirmed when he walked in, seeing only two other people in the area. His eyes scanned the area for a cosy place to relax when he realised the little couple looked familiar. Should he take a closer look? He wasn't sure if he would look like some stalker, but he tried to look casual as he walked towards them. He noticed that one of them was his dear friend, Rose. He waved to her. "Hey! I was wondering where you were. The library was a bit too crowded." He sat down next to her, but then was immediately embarrased as he realised there was someone else with them and felt like he was being rude.
"Oh, hello... Umm, my name's Xing. What's yours?" He extended his hand shyly, awaiting any handshake he would receive.

Rose smiled happily glad that she had ran into Xing, now she didn't have to worry to much for leaving. She smiled and waved back to him. Hey Xing, yeah that library was way to crowded, for me anyway. She looked back over to Marcus and then back to Xing. "You 2 don't know each other, I mean I thought you might since you two are in the same house and all." She said, she talked to a lot of her fellow Gyffindors that how she met Addison. She laughed at little at her own memories before she introduced the two boys.
"Xing this is Marcus I met him the library before it got way to crowded in there. Marcus this is Xing I met him in the kitchen after I had managed to miss dinner from all the studying I've been doing" She said with a little laughed, she loved making friend they gave her many happy memories.
