Griffin had seen Eirwyn too many times that day to count. He just knew that if he tried to talk to her, then she would probably bite his head off again, or worse, hex him again. He wasn't feeling very hungry when he walked into the great hall for dinner, he just needed something to do. He walked over to the Hufflepuff table, sat down, then proceded to look around the great hall.
As his eyes gazed over the Gryffindor table, he saw Eirwyn sitting by herself. One minute he was about to put some food on his plate, and the next minute, he was walking over to her. What the hell was he doing? Before he could stop himself, he sat down beside her.
"Um, hey, Eirwyn. Listen, I'm really sorry about last night. After I left the hospital wing, I looked for you for over an hour. I'm not really sure about what I did, but if you tell me then the grovelling can commence."

Eirwyn crossed her arms. Served him right, having to crawl to the hospital wing. She felt the slightest bit guilty, but he was obviously a stupid, stupid boy.
"Try again when you figure out how to properly treat girls," she said, not looking away from her food. She wished that she'd been better at getting to know her fellow Gryffindors so that she could at least pretend to be in a deep conversation with someone, but as it was, she hadn't and she couldn't. "And here's a hint: dragging them away and hiding behind tapestry isn't the way to go about it, either."

Griffin couldn't believe how stupid she was being. Here he was trying to apologize and she was completely blowing him off.
"Hey, your acting like this is completely my fault. I told you I was sorry. It's not like you told me to stop or told me you didn't want me to kiss you. You just hexed me then ran off."
This girl was beginning to piss him off.

"Uh, excuse you? There's a huge difference between being kissed and being pinned against a wall, you know!" She paused. "And I didn't hex you. I jinxed you." With that, she gave a semi-satisfied but mostly angry nod and went back to buttering her biscuit.
It wasn't really her fault she'd jinxed him anyway. She had panicked. Sometimes she resorted to extreme measures when she panicked. Maybe he shouldn't randomly shove people against walls if he enjoyed walking. Especially in Hogwarts. What was he, an idiot?

"What is your problem? It's not like I was molesting you or anything, if you would have said stop I would have. There was no reason for you to jinx me. Why are you acting like this is all my fault. I told you I was sorry, and now is when you are supposed to apologize back. But no, your too proud and stuck-up to admit when you do something wrong."
His voice had accually grown louder so that nearly all of the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff tables were listening to their conversation. But he didn't care, he just wanted to prove his point.

"I never said it was all your fault. It is, but I didn't say that. However, according to my mental dictionary, molesting involves unsolicited and unwanted sexual activity, so yes, you did molest me. I consider being shoved against a wall rather sexual, don't you?" She pressed a finger to her chin, acting mockingly thoughtful. "It really is a wonder you only ended up with useless legs, huh? I could have given you boils or something. Those take forever to heal."
She hoped he grew tired of her being passive-aggressive sometime soon, because eventually she was going to become plain aggressive, and that could only end in curses flying.

"Oh, here you go again being a PAIN IN MY ASS!"
Griffin was beginning to yell, but he didn't care. He had feeling for this girl and her she was just stomping on his heart and pissing him off at the same time.
"I told you a thousand times that I know I was wrong. But stop sticking all the blame on me! Don't forget that you are the one that cursed me for no good reason. What I did wasn't even that bad. You're blowing this all out of proportion!"

"If I'm such a pain in your ass, leave! This isn't your table, Sosario! Go back to your stupid House! You're the one acting as if a simple Jelly-Legs Jinx almost killed you, so don't you dare tell ME that I'm the one blowing this out of proportion!" Eirwyn stood rigidly and pointed to the Hufflepuff table. "Leave before I make you, you two-faced slut," she hissed. The angrier she got, the quieter her voice was. Now it was a deadly whisper. Anything that came after was going to get her a minimum of detention but would most probably result in expulsion.
Eirwyn's free hand lingered threateningly by her wand, which was concealed beneath her robes. She was ready to use it, and she would if need be.

"No, I will not leave until we are through with this conversation, and I happen to not be through yet. Oh, and simple jelly-leg jinx? I had to crawl all the way to the freakin hospital wing. Why is it that you are not able to show any remorse for what you did. I showed plenty of remorse, but you, you're way too much of a stuck up bitch!"
Griffin was yelling now, and most of the Great Hall was intent on their conversation. He stood up qickly makeing the table vibrate and the goblets shake.

The slap echoed through the Great Hall loudly. Eirwyn was positively seething. She wasn't one of those girls who was cute or pretty when she was angry. She just looked angry. Her face got a little blotchy and her eyes turned to slits and her whole body tensed like she had turned to rock.
"Don't you dare make any assumptions about me, you man-slut," she hissed. She bumped into him, barely reacting, as she walked past the other Gryffindors on her way out. She wasn't going to stay and listen to him insult her. He knew nothing.

Griffin just stood there stunned as she pushed past him. The side of his face was stinging from where she slapped him. He couldn't believe it, he thought girls only did that in movies. But, he quickly snapped out of it and turned around to see her storming out of the great hall.
"Eirwyn, wait. I didn't mean to call you that, it just slipped out. Wait, we need to talk."
He jogged to follow her out into the corridor.
