Name: Rylee Anne Goldshanks
Nicknames: Ry, Ryles, Lee (but she hates Lee, so don't call her that)
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight (although she'll try anything once)
Hair: Long, dark, and very wavy, although sometimes she'll straighten it to mix things up.
Eyes: Brown, but they look gold when the light hits them just right.
Skin-Tone: Fairly pale, although she tans in the summer.
Personality: Rylee is shy when one first meets her and is sometimes very quiet, but she is actually very mischievous after you get to know her; she cracks dumb jokes a lot, has a goofy laugh, and fancies herself to be the best spy in existence. She has high ambitions of becoming a spy for the Wizarding branch of MI6.
Likes: She loves playing pranks, goofing off with friends, singing in the shower, cracking ridiculous jokes and spying on her friends and family. She also loves running, and when the mood is right, she enjoys reading and every once in a while, you can catch her writing songs.
Dislikes: disloyalty, lying, stealing, cheating and any number of villainous acts. She also has an unprecedented hatred of cheesy curls after an embarrassing incident of accidental magic when she was six and a half. She refuses to give details on this matter.
History: Rylee was born and raised in the outskirts of London. Her father was a muggle in MI6, but he wasn't an agent. He was just a grant writer, but often told her crazy tales of his supposed "heroics." It was because of this that Rylee first got her obsession with being a spy. Her mother was a witch and an Auror, which only made Rylee's love of busting crime even more powerful. Unfortunately, her mother died when she was eight, and Rylee was there, but cannot for the life of her remember any details of what happened.
Special Skills: Rylee catches on to new things very quickly she is a quick study of people, and can tell you're lying with a single glance. She also has a mysterious connection to Helga Hufflepuff through her mother's side of the family, which is mysteriously estranged.
Sample Post:
The day that Rylee got her letter was a day she wouldn't likely forget for the rest of her life. She could distinctly remember the look on her father's face, the pride in his eyes. But she could also detect the fear, the fear that she'd get mixed up in something dangerous while away.
But Rylee's dad had never been anything if not laid back and understanding, and so of course he hadn't fought when she told him she wanted to go. He wanted the best for her, he told her, even if it scared the hell out of him.
Now in her third year of Hogwarts, Rylee found herself almost wishing for that danger. She was bored. And she still couldn't remember anything about the day her mother died, despite having been studying it feverishly for two years.
But maybe, just maybe, this year, things would begin falling into place.
