Night Grey was nervous as she walked towards the doors to the great hall. She was dressed as Robin: The Boy Wonder from the Batman comics. She had made the tunic and everything herself. However she was a bit embarrassed as she wore a pair of green panties (over another pair of course) and her legs were visible to all who was looking. Other than that she was rather pleased with her handy work. She even hand made the pouches and batarang. She realized she was the first person there and felt even sillier. She quickly found a place to stand looking around at all the decorations. (OOC: ignore the funny face)

Rose walked and pushed back her hood, man was that hot. Not even the fabric on her normal robes were this hot. Her hair had taken her forever to get done and her make-up, she had never found and real use for make-up until tonight. SO she had a lot of help for the other girls. The fake teeth weren't so hard she just use some sort of transfiguring spell that made them look and fell real. Claudia would be proud she thought to herself.
She walked in and looked around it seemed like barely anyone was there. No she knew, she just walk to one end of the great hall and waited for someone to show up, or she could try and make a new friend, but she wasn't good at that. So she just stayed put.

Night looked over and smiled slowly deciding to walk towards the other female. She was nervous but hey today she was Dick Greyson, Robin. He was a confident sort of guy so she should be too. She walked normally her shiny yellow cape billowing out behind her. Underneath that, due to the little fabric she wore her butt and hips were visibly swaying. "Alo, there"

Rose smiled nervously. Hi. She said trying to sound, well not like a scary cat. She looked at the girls outfit, she wasn't sure were it was from but it looked amazing. She like the different colors and the cape, must be a superhero if it has a cape. I love all the color of your costume. Rose told the girl. Rose wasn't all that scared to say what was one her mind it was just starting a conversation with someone knew, she didn't know how someone may react to her talking to them. She this girl seemed to pretty nice.

(OOC: Sorry you guys don't get a picture of Astin in drag. My laptop's dead, and the desktop simply would have DIED if I'd attempted messing with it. ^^;; )
Astin regretted ever agreeing to this, ever. It was a horrible idea and he was a stupid man. He'd confided in a girl in his House, a sweet girl, and she'd gone all-out helping him prepare. And by all-out, he meant all-out. She'd somehow shoved him into a torture device called a corset, and now he'd lost all ability to breathe. He had to admit, however, if he was a girl, he'd be attracted to himself.
He was dressed like a wench, and Dastan was supposed to be a pirate. He wondered if Dastan would recognize him as a girl. The only distinguishable features were his face, seeing as his Housemate had done a wonderful job making him look like a girl. She'd used a charm to make his hair long and curly, which was weird at first, but he liked playing with it. The way she'd done the corset gave him a slightly feminine waist, and above that, the ruffles hid his flat chest and gave some illusion of breasts. The skirt was full-- making it seem like he had hips-- and ended just above his knees. Luckily, he'd found thick tights so he hadn't had to do anything about the hair on his legs.
So, other than his not-very-girly legs and his face, neither of which which could exactly be described as masculine, he came off looking, like... well, a girl. He hated that it had been so easy, but at least no one would be able to tell.
Playing with a blond ringlet, Astin scanned the room for his "date."

Night smiled and the compliment, "You look rather beautiful, if I may be so bold. How did you pull off looking like a prepubescent girl I wonder. Some skilled magic?" she was genuinely interested. It was a feat many older muggle women would die for.
She looked to the side when she saw out of the corner of her eye a woman... (Bloody f**king hell that's a boy! she thought) walk in. She shot him/her a smile and waved one shiny green gloved hand.

Rose smiled. I am kind of tiny already I just usually don't dress up so it really doesn't show. She said another girl walk in. She looked familiar but had clue who she was. Rose let slip her mind and turned her attention back the girl in front of her. I did use some skilled magic though I've been practicing for a while now. I am Rose by the way. She said holding out her gloved hand for the girl to shake it.

Night turned back to Rose and shook her hand firmly. "I'm Night Grey. Pleasure to make your acquaintance." She looked around once more, "I sometimes wish I didn't show up this early all the time. Makes it kinda weird when people walk in and you're one of only a handful there"

Viola lingered in the corner sipping from cup filled with punch. Punch. It felt like she’d been punched in the stomach. Her and Elena had argued like you wouldn’t believe. Literally, curses were flying. In fact, it was more than an argument, it had turned into a full blown duel. She didn’t know where they stood now. The party scene didn’t feel right. She wanted to mope about in the dungeons. But Elena was supposed to meet her here. But that had been decided before the fight. Maybe she would come.
She fingered the blue satin of her short dress costume. It was too bright. She was supposed to be Alice, from the literary nonsensical novel. She didn’t think anyone would know who she was. Elena did though.
When she was sure no one was looking, she pulled out a small vial of fire whiskey and tipped it into her punch. It was strong. Like the stuff you used to take polish off your nails. But there was no way she would be able to go the whole night completely sober. Especially without Elena, at a party. Where was Elena…..

(OOC: Eirwyn has the same reason as Astin for not having photos. Sorry again!)
Eirwyn smoothed out her hair nervously. She wondered where Griffin was. They hadn't spoken since the Whomping Willow incident, and she was starting to think that maybe, just maybe, he'd backed out of their deal. After all, she didn't see her knight in shining armor in the room.
Eirwyn held her head high and straightened out her long, ice-blue dress, which was striking against her hair. She felt... odd, standing around by herself. Maybe someone else would have seen Griffin.
She spotted two other girls conversing; she recognized one of them as being in Gryffindor, and the other she knew was in her year but couldn't place for the life of her. Smiling, she made her way over to the two of them.
"Hi," she said, "I don't suppose either of you have seen a knightly Hufflepuff wandering about, have you?"

I actually thought I was late.I am not used to doing my hair or make-up. And I don't like being the first ones cause then you have wait for the party to start. I like to show up once the party is going. Rose was a big party girl, she loved dancing and laughing on the dance floor. She looked around yet another girl arrived. Bunch of girls were here, but no boys. She wanted to pout but she wasn't going to. "I don't suppose either of you have seen a knightly Hufflepuff wandering about, have you?" Said one of the girls. Rose shook her head. Nope no boys at all yet. If you want you can stay and talk until he shows up. Rose suggested.

It had taken some very serious pep-talking to himself to get him to actually step out of the room looking as he did. He was embarrassed, quite frankly, of the ridiculousness of his pirate costume. The only things that had finally gotten him willing to move was the fact that A) he hated most of these people anyways, and he'd already stated that he didn't give two shits what they thought of him, B) He was a Prefect and so he had to anyways, and C) Astin. Was going to be in drag.
His eyeballs nearly fell out of his head when he finally did catch sight of Astin, however. Astin...was actually a really pretty girl. Wait. Had he thought that for real? Impossible. He couldn't think things like that. It was awkward and it made him blush.
The feather on his cap suddenly began tickling his nose and he blew it out of his face, then began cutting through the crowd as best he could as the invalid that he was. His knee still hurt horribly. He didn't know how long it would take to heal, but at least he had the comfort of knowing that it would eventually be healed. He could always fall back on that comfort.

Night looked towards the new girl, "Well there are two boys. Dastan and Astin... I assume." she pointed out the two boys in turn and fixed her utility belt. "any one in particular you are waiting for Miss... I don't believe I know your name. I'm Night." she held out her hand once she realized she didnt know this beautiful woman.

Elena smoothed out her green dress. She hadn't told Viola what she was going as, and truthfully, she felt uncomfortable. She hadn't expected the fight between them to be so violent. Still, it kind of suited them, didn't it? She looked down at her dress and sighed softly. This dress was covering up some of her bruises. Bruises she didn't want Vi to see. If only Viola would overlook the fact that E wasn't going as the Cheshire cat like planned.
As Elena walked into the Great Hall, she gulped. Her emerald green skirt bounced around her lightly and she picked it up a bit to keep it from dragging on the ground too much. Scanning over the crowd, she stood up on her toes, trying to spot her girlfriend. If she could even really call her that anymore. She rolled her eyes, pushing all bad thoughts aside and walked in deeper, deciding to get a drink. She was thirsty after all; this pressure was getting to her. How would Vi react to her sudden outfit change? Would she even talk to her? Her heart panged painfully against her chest and Elena looked down , fighting not to tear up. She wouldn't do it today. Today was about fun.
She walked over to the drink table, passing by Viola, not noticing the girl was there, slipping some alcohol into her drink. She grabbed a cup and poured the red content into it, bringing it to her lips and taking a drink. When she pulled it away, said lips were stained red. She looked around then saw a girl in an Alice costume. Her heart soared. Viola. A smile found its usual place on her face and she walked over casually, standing next to her. "Wow, this is really dead, isn't it?"
