"Right, because that clearly sounds like a wonderful idea. Although I'm sure they'd love to have us over for dinner."
Rae smiled, knowing she was being a bit stupid but not caring; stupid worked for her. "I'm sure they would; it has to get lonely, being a snake in the Forbidden Forest. I mean, if it's forbidden, it can't be a very social place, can it? Nobody is allowed to visit. It's almost sad," Rae said, frowning. It really must be sad. On some level ,she could identify with that loneliness. She'd have to go and visit there sometime. She didn't suspect the snakes would be too nice and didn't fancy actually meeting them, but perhaps, if she brought them something good to eat and sprinkled it in the grass, they'd at least know that someone was thinking about them. Rae liked to think that someone, somewhere was thinking about her. Maybe her father, whoever he was. Or maybe even her mum; she hadn't always been hateful to her. She had some days where she saw in Rae her little baby girl.
Or at least, she could count on her aunt. She hoped Rosie was thinking of her; Rae didn't think anyone at Hogwarts would.
Rae suddenly stopped and looked around, taking in their surroundings. They were no longer in the dungeons at all.
"Hey, we're in the corridors! But...where are we heading exactly?" Rae turned to Caitlyn with a puzzled expression, then her eyes widened and she began searching her sodden robes for her schedule. She found it in one of the pockets...but it was soaked and completely illegible.
"Oh no!" she cried in dismay, dropping her robes and trying to unfold the schedule and turn it in a way that she could read it. It didn't work. "I...what am I going to do?"
