The inner workings of the school are in here. Almost anywhere can be reached here, except for common rooms that aren't yours. Also, if you're caught after hours beware... You'll get a detention!

"So, where we headed? Or do you know?"
"Well," Dastan said, "Wandering aimlessly implies that no, I don't know where we're going. I figure if we just walk around, get ourselves lost, we'll find some sort of adventure or other. We always do. Or rather, it finds us."
Dastan pursed his lips; that was true enough. They always ended up having something happen when they went off on one of their adventures, and it generally didn't go well. He honestly wasn't sure why he had this need for adventures, especially given his and Astin's track record. Still, it was fun, getting into trouble, sometimes. As long as nobody got hurt too bad, that is.
He cast a look at Astin. The one adventure he regretted the most was the one that had taken them to Hogsmeade. He'd almost lost Astin. It hadn't been a good feeling, either. He wouldn't be forgetting the fear and anxiety in his chest as he sat by Astin's bedside, waiting for him to wake up. He also hadn't forgotten his logic concerning why he and Astin should probably not be friends. It was easy to pretend that he was doing the right thing by going back to his friendship with Astin when they were safely ensconced within the school; he hoped he wouldn't regret that decision any time soon.
Dastan hopped onto another stair case that he didn't recognize, making sure that Astin wasn't far behind. It switched, and began heading in a downward direction, making him nearly lose his balance. Huh..he hadn't been further down than the dungeons before. Intrigued, he followed the new corridor that stretched out before them.

"Wandering aimlessly implies that no, I don't know where we're going. I figure if we just walk around, get ourselves lost, we'll find some sort of adventure or other. We always do. Or rather, it finds us."
Astin rolled his eyes. That was almost an undisputed fact, for sure. He wondered if danger was drawn to him or his unlikely companion. Casting a look down at bandaged hands, he decided that it was definitely Dastan's fault that they always ended up in some sort of trouble. After all, the worst trouble Astin ever had gotten into without Das was mostly blowing up and/or melting cauldrons, and that was only due to his poor skill in Potions and not any sort of danger looming ominously behind him. At least, he hoped that was the case.
"Well then, do we have a method for this madness? Are we pacing, talking to the paintings, touching random statues, or should I just start tripping at random intervals? That seemed to work well la-- ahh?--- oof!" Astin was cut off, making the unsure and slightly startled "ahh" noise when the staircase moved and the "oof" when he lost his balance and fell onto the steps. With a groan, he pushed himself back up to his knees and leaned back. The stupid stairs had... stair'd him in the ribs. He winced, touching his fingers gingerly to the bruise. Just great. The adventure hadn't even begun and already he was getting injured.
He pushed himself to his feet as the staircase stuttered to a stop. They were facing down, deep down into Hogwarts. With any amount of bad luck, it was going to be dark and dank and full of all manner of horrible things.
Bring it on.

Casteil walked down the hall by the Ravenclaw dormitories on the say after he had begun dating Vince Forrest. He was thinking of the handsome boy and he decided he would make his way down towards the Hufflepuff area to pick him up for a cuddle session or maybe something a bit more intimate.
He couldn't think of a better way to start the afternoon. There was a slight spring in his step. He loosened his tie and then proceeded to fix it to his perfectionist standards.

Vince had woken up this morning in a really good mood. Vince took extra time today to look right, he wanted to look right when he saw Casteil today. He hurried out of the common room and looked himself over one more time. Vince looked around wondering were Casteil might be, but it didn't take long. There he was walking down the corridor. Vince grinned from ear to ear and took off running towards him. When he reached him and smothered Casteil in a tight hug. Good morning. Casteil. He said cheerfully.

He smiled and caught the other boy. This was most definitely the reception he hoped to have when he saw Vince. Casteil gave the other boy a tight hug and leaned down to kiss him with one hand snaking dangerously close to his lover's ass. "Good morning, Vince, my love. How are you doing today."
He was grinning like a crazy person as he snuggled close. "I've been thinking about you all morning."

Vince smiled at him. Really? I was thinking about you to. Vince said smiling. What do want to do today? I finished all my school work last night, so I am free all day. Vince said happily. Today was his usual day for his school work but he really wanted to spend the day with Casteil.

Casteil nodded, "same here. Where would you like to go today Vince? I am up for anything." He moved his hands so they took grasp of his lover's and he could pull the other boy against his body. The taller boy looked intently into his lover's eyes with a look of intense and deep passion for the boy caught in his arms. He could feel the other boy pressed to him and he had to fight to pick him up and take him somewhere more private for a cuddle/make out session. It was hard to resist but he was very happy for what hormonal control he had.

Vince smiled up at Casteil and held on his hand tightly. Vince thought for a moment were was quiet place at this time of day. The courtyard would be to crowed and to hot today. The library was his favorite place to be, hopefully it was crowed and maybe he could find a private spot from them. Want to try the Library first. Since its usually quiet. Vince asked. He may like the library that doesn't mean that everyone else did.

Alec made it to the bottom of the stairs and out to the corridor before Rylee stopped him. He took a step back reflexively then glared at her, his hands clenching into fists.
"I was right, wasn't I? Haha! I knew it! You really did want my attention. That's almost cute!"
He shook again, this time from rage. There were people around, damn it. Didn't she see that? Was she truly that blind? People were turning to stare at them, making his face turn a slight shade of pink. "Shut up, no one cares about your impudence!" He stepped aside, intent on walking past her, but she stepped in his direction, blocking him. A low, feral growl escaped his lips and he glared at her, his eyes flashing dangerously. Something deep, deep within him was glad that she was doing this, but his immediate reaction was to get angry and barrel through her if need be. He hoped it didn't come to that but the way things were headed, it looked like it was going to come to that. He dropped his voice to a low whisper, the sound practically caressing the air. "Move aside...Now. I don't want to have to ask you again."

"Shut up, no one cares about your impudence! Move aside...Now. I don't want to have to ask you again."
"If no one cares about my 'impudence,' as you call it, then why do you care so much?" she asked, arching an eyebrow. "What's the matter? Afraid that I'll see through you again? Upset that your act doesn't work on me?"
She knew she was pressing her luck, but Rylee didn't generally like holding anything back. She was an up-front and honest person. Some might say that that would make her a bad option for a spy, but the way she saw it, that was exactly what would make her such a great spy. She could simply grin and say that she was a spy, and people would automatically assume she was lying, because nobody would actually tell them that if they were. Or so they'd think.
"Come on. If I was wrong, why would you be so freaked out by this? Hm?"

"I'm not freaked out. Just--I don't have to explain myself to you, damn it. I'm--Just leave."
Don't leave.
He paused, shaking his head.
"It doesn't matter, all right? You're wrong."
You're not wrong. Don't let me go...
He tried to move past her again but once again, she didn't let him. His jaw clenched and he rolled his eyes, looking up at the ceiling. "Just leave me alone." He was resigning, he knew it. He didn't have the will to keep going. Once again, he was being a disappointment to his family even if they didn't know exactly what was going on.

"Just leave me alone."
Rylee stopped him again, staring at him intently with her large dark eyes. "You keep saying that. But why do your eyes tell me that you don't want me to leave? What are you so afraid of?" she said, searching his face.
She couldn't help that she wanted to know so much about him. There was something behind his blue eyes, something that terrified and intrigued her and kept her excited and curious. She felt that if she could get to know what was behind those eyes, she would feel liberated somehow. She wasn't sure what that meant, but that's what she felt. She needed to unravel this mystery. She wasn't a fool--she knew it would take a while, perhaps years, before she could ever hope to have that wish granted.
But she was willing to wait. He'd brushed against her to get her attention. Well, now he had it, and she didn't want to let go.

"You keep saying that. But why do your eyes tell me that you don't want me to leave? What are you so afraid of?"
This was the catalyst. He felt himself harden up, finding strength in her words for some reason. He pushed aside all emotion, hiding it behind cold, blue eyes. He averted his eyes, his voice switching to neutrality, devoid of emotion as well. "I'm afraid of being plagued by your insolent questions for the rest of eternity." He put his hands on her shoulders, now looking into her warm brown eyes and moved her around in a circle, making it so he was in her place and vice versa. Finally, they were clear. Well, at least he was. "Sorry, darling, but I don't have the time to dawdle with this now. Talk to you another time?"
He let go of her shoulders, ignoring the tingles he felt from touching her and turned, facing away from her, starting to walk off once more. He finally had the situation under control again, but as he walked, he looked down at his hands. They seemed to be all right. What the hell was that tingling feeling he got when he touched her? Did she have some sort of chemical in her clothes? It seemed unlikely...She didn't smell of anything except for spiced apples, but maybe she was just good at masking and unmasking things. It sure seemed like it with the way she'd figured him out...He just wouldn't let her know that it was true.

Rylee watched him go with tears stinging her eyes. She wasn't sure what they were for. The fact that he was leaving her, or the fact that she was letting him. She couldn't keep on following him. At least, not today. She'd let him escape. But she wasn't happy about it. She was frustrated with her weakness, but she'd known it would take some time and a lot of effort to get inside his armor. She'd been lucky to get under his skin at all.
"You'll regret running away," she called after him, then turned on her heel and began walking the other direction. She shoved down whatever upset she felt and decided that she'd wait it out. He'd probably come back to her eventually. She would solve the mystery. Just not today.
